Recovery going really well today. Wee naps between pain meds - Advil and Tylenol mainly with an occasional sprinkle of oxycodone. I'm keeping to a strict pain management schedule to keep the baseline steady and avoid the roller coaster of pain highs and lows. No post-op nausea or sickness to report. YEAH!
By 6:30 am I was up and walking - doing my laps around the main floor with a walk through the kitchen grabbing a little nosh as I made the rounds. Then back to bed.
Full-on appetite today. Had crumpets and scrambled eggs in the morning. Best yumminess post-op.
Had the energy to attend my weekly Breast Cancer Support Group today followed by my Women's Mastermind. Two of the best support groups ever. And I was thrilled that I was able to participate! Seeing friendly faces online today was definitely cup-filling.
Started my exercises first thing this morning too. Ball squeezes, shoulder shrugs, arm pendulum swings. Feeling really really good.

Lots of wee naps. I’m rocking the pain meds and resting like a champ!
David has been the best caregiver! Always ready to lend a hand or grab me whatever I need. Spoiled to the max today. He even ran out to get some Haagen Dazs (4 different flavours of course) for my sore throat due to the tube used during surgery.

And the highlight of today: all the cup-filling messages and check-ins from family and friends. WE MADE IT!
I have no doubt that everyone's positive energy, prayers, intentions and love helped make yesterday and today and for all the days to come, easy and joyous.
FULL OF GRATITUDE!! ❤️

Hooray Rosie! I am so glad you are feeling so well and that recovery is smooth! Keep eating that ice cream! xoxoxo
Can I have your email so I can contribute to the food train? Thanks
