we let the wind of change carry us."

Hello Love Humans!

I hope you are well and savouring all the goodness that life has to offer and enjoying these warm sunny Autumn days!

It's been a while, hasn't it? I am often surprised when I realize the passage of time - how is it fall? Somehow ever since being diagnosed with breast cancer, I often feel like I am in a time warp - time seems to be short, long and often non-existent all at once. I have to admit that it does feel quite strange now that I am on the other side.

Yes that is right... my breast cancer is now in the rear view mirror! WOOHOO!

And yet never completely out of mind. With my next mammogram on November 4th inching closer and closer, I am finding myself getting anxious about what the results might be. Last year when I skipped out of my mammogram thinking I was all clear, I never expected to receive the devastating news of local cancer recurrence which had me undergo a mastectomy in January of this year. I am hopeful and holding the belief with all my heart that my right breast will be 100% clear!

I've been pretty quiet since our return from our celebratory Galapagos trip in April because I needed space and time to recover, heal and recalibrate.

I'm feeling more energized, and ready to move forward and follow my heart which is now guiding me towards my next chapter.

I'm getting certified as a Cancer Doula.

For a while now I have been feeling the call to support women experiencing cancer in ways that go beyond their medical care. I will empower women to unleash their Inner Warrior and help them navigate the emotional rollercoaster of their cancer journey through coaching, support, encouragement, and holistic tools.

I would appreciate it if you would please spread the love and share with anyone you feel may benefit.

And here we are in October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

I’m participating in the CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, October 6. I'll be walking this Sunday!

This event helps raise funds for breast cancer research and support programs like the ones I benefitted from while undergoing cancer treatment. 1 in 8 of women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Please consider a donation of any amount, if you're able. I'm so grateful for any support. You can DONATE HERE

Thank you so much for all the check-ins, sweet messages and sending the love. I'm excited for what is to come...

R xx

p.s If you're wondering what's happening to Rosie's Kitchen Co. - It's not going anywhere. I'll be headed back into the kitchen crafting and sharing recipes, offering limited in-person and online classes when it feels right. It's a bit of a refresh and slightly new direction. Interested? You'll find me HERE.

Rosie, you are the most perfect, heart centred, magical person to become a Cancer Doula. It was in you all along as a friend, mentor, great listener and practical advice giver.

Not to say I want cancer again, but if I did you would be my go to.

Learn lots and share it with the world . The world needs more Rosie!
