I'm home, resting, recovering and taking it easy. I have so much to share about the few days leading up to my mastectomy and the day of surgery. It'll have to wait a bit longer as I am finding it difficult to type. It's amazing how I am noticing the use of my left muscles that are being triggered as I type! Never noticed them before!
So I just wanted to give you all a quick HELLO!! and let you know that surgery went very well. I'm feeling good.
Sure, I'm a bit uncomfortable but not in any big pain (thank you meds!!!) and I have already seen the nurse for my drain management and the changing of the surgical dressings today.
I'm good. REALLY REALLY GOOD!
Thank you for all the love, support, well wishes, positive vibes and prayers. I am so grateful for it all!! And please know that the outpouring of love has carried me through this very challenging time.
