Does anyone else have a laundry mountain? Before today I actually had a laundry mountain range. LOL

Today, I hunkered down, did laundry, and reorganized my clothes - putting all my comfy-cozy super-soft clothes on easily accessible closet shelves. The pandemic has trained me well for this day - here's to the perfect loungewear!

I've been busying myself with making sure I have everything at hand so that when I return home on Wednesday night (I still find it puzzling how it's day surgery), and wake up Thursday morning, I am able to really rest and recover. I'm creating my healing sanctuary - my little cocoon.

I've been making sure I also have a few luxuries too. New velvety soft Kate Spade jammies. Thank you Costco! (Ladies - run don't walk and go get yourself a pair! Highly recommend.) I have all my pampering essentials at the ready: hand and foot creams from L'Occitane and my fav shower oils and washes too. I found new Turkish towels at the bottom of a laundry pile (haha totally forgot about them). I unboxed the last of my favourite-scented Diptyque candles - Cannelle, an original scent only available in Paris. (If anyone is headed to Paris, let me know 😘).

Self-care at its finest. Cocooning on steroids!
